COLUMBIA HOSPITALITY & MARTIN NORTH

Founded in 1979 by hoteliers Steve and Jan Martin, Martin North was developed to include the Stephanie Inn and Dining Room, Public Coast Brewing Co., (and before July 2022 that included the Surfsand Resort, Wayfarer Restaurant & Lounge), now owned by their daughter Stephanie and her husband, Ryan Snyder.

With the Columbia relationship, the properties remain under their current ownership, and they continue to play a vital role in both future developments, as well as partnerships for enhanced guest experiences of the Columbia managed properties, the growth of Public Coast Farm and the continued expansion of Public Coast Brewing Co. Both Ryan and Stephanie also remain active partners in their cherished North Oregon Coast community and continue to lead Martin North and its properties charitable efforts.

In this role, I served as both Marketing Director and Brand Director for Stephanie Inn & Dining Room, Spa Stephanie, Public Coast Brewing Co., and Public Coast Farm. I worked closely with Ownership, C-Level team, as well as each property and department, including local partners, vednors and organizations to support the development of each brand’s identity and revenue goals.

This was a dynamic role that expanded beyond the traditional scope of a Marketing or Brand Director.
