Project: Branding - Development & Creation​

Above The Bar was created by Jill Hapak and Cece Chaput in October 2019 as a way to channel negative energy towards positive, tangible change.

 

Jill and C.C. are talented mixologists with deep roots in the F&B community. They turned their experiences into formidable milestones for change. Many Food & Beverage and Hospitality industry members experience a physical and mental toll from the hours, the work, and the often surreal encounters they face. With very few resources supporting them, let alone the time afforded to improve their state of being, Jill and Cece saw an opportunity to use the very platform they hoped to aid to create engaging and innovative storytelling and experiences to fundraise for those behind the bar and the countless others who work behind the scenes for the bar. 

"Acting as liaisons between brands, bars, and bartenders, we help conceptualize, organize, and operate fundraisers. Guest bartenders from all over the city donate a small amount of their time to work behind an unfamiliar bar, alongside peers they wouldn't normally get to work with, while raising money for worthy causes through tips and proceeds of donated product. Our hope is to bring people within the hospitality industry together to help build our community, make a difference, and go above and beyond the bar. "
